About the event

On the 30th August I will be holding a special New Moon Sound Bath at the very gorgeous Belmont House and Gardens.

In this dark side of the moon we can go inward to go inward and sense what we long for and wish to attract. We will honour this lunar period with a deep listening meditation and a ‘Listening Tree’ manifestation ceremony under the watchful eye of a beautiful Cedar and Copper Beech Tree. Then we will glide into a multi layered Sound Bath using Alchemy Crystal Bowls and Redwood Healing Harp.

The Copper Beech and Cedar tree have struck such a chord with me since visiting and I believe that we will be witnessed and held in very special ways under their magnificence.

The Beech tree is called the 'Queen of Mother of the Woods', sharing place of honour with the kingly oak.  As such the beech is considered to be protective and nurturing, giving shade with its canopy and food that can beaten in its raw state. It was said that no harm could befall a lost traveller who sought shelter under the branches of a beech, considered to be one of the few truly holy trees in the wood.  Prayers uttered under a beech go straight to heaven.  Slivers of beech wood and leaves were once carried as talismans to bring good luck and increase creative energy.

The Cedar tree has been revered for its spiritual significance for thousands of years. Its wood was used for the doors of sacred temples and burned in cleansing ceremonies for purification. The tree was thought to house important gods and to be an entrance to higher realms. The Cedar has been used for healing, purification and for spiritual protection. Its spiritual properties are supposed to promote peaceful thoughts and help interpret messages from the inner self.

Know as one of Kent's finest hidden gems Belmont House and Gardens is a touch of extra special serenity within the Kent landscape. The focus of Belmont is the elegant 18th century house (designed by Samuel Wyatt) commanding stunning views over the surrounding Estate and the rolling Kentish North Downs.

This will be a very special evening and I hope that you can join myself, the trees and the Belmount House team who will be serving teas and cake after the session.

Ticket includes admission to the estate so you are welcome to arrive earlier and explore this beautiful place.
